Julie Boehm serves as Director of Franchise Support for Montessori Kids Universe and head of Corporate Training. Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Prior to working for MKU; Julie was an early childhood educator in a 3-year-old classroom. Upon observing the Montessori methodology, Julie became passionate about the philosophy of education and the benefits for every child. Julie holds her Early Childhood (3-6) Montessori teaching certificate. Passionate in her role with MKU; she loves supporting owners and assisting them in making their dreams come true as they open their school. Julie was raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and currently resides with her husband and daughter in the greater Augusta, Ga. area.
Claudine Campanelli serves as a Corporate Team Trainer and Field Support Specialist for Montessori Kids Universe. She also serves as the Education Coordinator of NYS Early Childhood Professional Development Institute. Prior to joining Montessori Kids Universe, Claudine had managed international AMI Montessori programs for 18 years. Claudine directed 8 schools globally, as well as the flagship school; licensed for 425 children. She also opened and managed early childhood programs in the U.S., Australia, England and India. Ms. Campanelli has taught at Molloy College and Touro College. Ms. Campanelli is active in the early childhood community sitting on several advocacy boards and committees. Ms. Campanelli is currently a doctoral candidate at LIU Post in New York. Her research is focused on measuring ambient language in mixed-age classrooms and its influence on infant/toddler language acquisition. Ms. Campanelli holds a degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson University, an MBA, and MA in Human Resources from St. Joseph’s College. Ms. Campanelli is also AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) 0-3 Montessori diploma credentialed.
Jaclyn Boehm serves as Corporate Director of Real Estate for Montessori Kids Universe. After attending Florida International University in Miami, Florida; Jackie obtained her Florida real estate license and launched her career. Through the development of a vast network of commercial real estate brokers; Jackie works closely with the national team and the client to identify the perfect location and facility for the school to operate successfully. Jackie resides in Miami Florida.
Amanda Romero serves as Franchise Support Specialist. Amanda holds an ABA, as well as, a BA focusing in Sociology from Montclair State University. Amanda is a real estate agent in the states of Virginia and Florida and has been an early childhood educator for over ten years. She began her journey with Montessori Kids Universe as a Head of School at one of our Virginia locations and is excited to now be a part of the corporate team. She resides in Loxahatchee Fl with her husband, two sons, and their beloved German Shepard.
Dana Hernandez serves as an Education Specialist at Montessori Kids Universe. She holds two undergraduate degrees from Ball State University; Human Psychology and Child Development. She has been a Montessorian since 2009, having taught in Indianapolis, Virginia Beach, and Atlanta. In 2015, Dana decided to leave the classroom and take her advocacy for Montessori education to a different platform. She has served as a Head of School and as a Montessori Consultant since. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
Shelley Bergmann serves as our Education Specialist at Montessori Kids Universe. Before joining MKU, Shelley was a creative innovator of Montessori pedagogy in private, high-quality schools throughout Palm Beach County, Florida, for over 15 years. Her deep experience transforming the Montessori profession includes overseeing and enhancing curricula, recruiting and nurturing faculty, and preparing academically rigorous Montessori environments where students and faculty can reach their greatest potential. Shelley’s personal goal is to give each child a vision of the universe into which they can expand and contribute. Shelley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Archaeology from Hamline University. In addition to obtaining an American Montessori Society Teacher Training Certificate in 2008, Shelley also received her Practical Nursing License from Palm Beach State College. In 2017, Shelley graduated with Honors with a Master of Montessori Education degree from St. Catherine University.
Tillery Thomann serves as Francise Support Specialist. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University. Tillery was previously a teacher in Infant/Toddler classrooms at a NAEYC Child Development Center in Charleston, South Carolina. Tillery has a passion for children and families and is excited to utilize her knowledge and experiences as a support specialist. She enjoys tropical vacations, spending time with her husband, golden retriever Ace, and playing tennis. She was born and raised in Savannah, GA and currently resides in Augusta, GA.
