Facebook and Instagram are continuously changing their advertising rules. You can no longer upload pre-made adertising templates due to the nature of hundreds of different screen sizes in today’s technological world.
Images: Images should not have text. If it does have text, no more than 20% of the image. 20% represents the size of a watermark. If it exceeds 20%, your ad will be “disapproved” by Facebook.
Headline: No more than 25 characters
Text: Only the first 3 lines show in an ad
Where is it? These ads are not boosts. They are targeted ads to families with children under the age of 6. You will not see these ads on your Facebook page.
Costs: Every market is different. Ads are based on supply and demand. The higher the demand, the higher the cost per lead. Some areas will see a cost as low as $20 per lead. Some areas will see a cost over $75 per lead. We are continuously monitoring your ads to get you the best return on investment but please note that advertising is never guaranteed and is rarely instantanious. It typically takes 2-3 months before optimizing the best ads for a market.
Timing: Facebook has a “learning period”. The learning period is 7 days for your ads to optimize. If you adjust the ad during this time, you negatively affect the learning period. This means much of your budget could be spent upfront but Facebook will not go over. Eventually, the cost per lead typically goes down.
Recommendations: Once an ad is working, it is good to leave alone and monitor spend monthly. You can test new ad types at this point if you wish to look for more leads.
Boost Posts: You can boost posts as you wish. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. It is not the tech team’s practice to boost post unless requested.
